Peyote Stitch: Larch Pendant by Zsuzsanna Veres

Probably the most popular of all the beading stitches. Peyote is a versatile beading technique for it can be easily combined with other beading stitches. MATERIALS: 

 

 

 

Below is a sneak preview of what you will see from the step by step guide available in our member area.

First task: Bezel a 8 mm rivoli with 22 beads.
Step 1:
Add S8-S11-S8 bead between the first delica row’s 2 delica beads. Navigate your lace to the back delica row as you see in the pattern.
Step 2: 
Add three times 1xD bead with peyote stitch as you see in the pattern, then add 7xD beads as you see in the pattern, then add 1xD bead three times with peyote stitch again. Add 34 pieces of D beads between the beads as you see in the pattern. Always navigate your lace out as you see in the pattern.
Step 3:
Add 1-1 D bead with peyote stitch as you see in the pattern. Add 2xD beads by the peak. Below only add 1xD between the two D beads.
Step 4:
Add 1-1 D bead with peyote stitch as you see in the pattern.
Step 5: 
Add 1-1 D bead with peyote stitch as you see in the pattern. At the lower peak add 3xD beads, as you see in the pattern. Navigate your lace out through the delica as you see in the pattern.
Step 6:
Add 1-1 S15 bead as you see in the pattern, and pull them to set your petal spatial. After you stitched the beads in, navigate your lace out as you see in the pattern.
