Krisztina Szegediné

Art and handcraft have always been an important part of my life. My mother taught me knitting and embroidering in my youth. I always created my own things but for long I had no time for crafting because of my day job and my family.

Then about 10 years ago I found the beads as a hobby. After learning beading techniques for years I started making my own designs and lately dedicate most of my time to crafting. I became a passionate beader and jewelry designer. I prefer to use the tiny best quality seed beads. My favorite beading techniques are peyote and loom, but I like experimenting with beads. I found inspirations from several parts of the world, so I was touched by many cultures. I am originally a Hungarian from Central Europe. I lived in California and Sweden for some years, so I got inspired by both the Native American and Nordic culture.

One of my designs was published in the 2017 holiday special issue of Bead&Button.
