There’s a saying that love makes the world go ’round. For jewelry designer, Christi Uliczny, yes, it is love, but a different kind of love. Love for beads and polymer clay makes her world go ’round!
|Starting from her childhood years, Christi has always been a crafter. She has tried lots of different crafts, including scrapbooking, rubber stamping, flower arranging, embroidery, just to name a few, but when she laid eyes on polymer clay she began turning what was just a craft into an art.
Dreaming and imagining about new & different textures she has the skill to create shapes to make and of course colors! To Christi, polymer clay gives her the artistic freedom to mimic many different types of natural materials as one polymer artist calls it the chameleon clay.
On 2012 she was introduced to bead weaving and instantly, like most of us crafters, she fell in love with it. She finds it relaxing to bead weave, and stitch all those little beads! She began learning even more and created an easy spiral bracelet and then moved on to freeform bead weaving. Combining bead weaving skills she also creates bead embroidery and added her own creation of polymer clay cabochons and beads to the designs. Fighting with breast cancer, Christi is a strong woman and now, she owns and manages three Etsy shop!
