|Here is a free bracelet tutorial, featuring Silky beads, Kheops® Par Puca® beads and SuperDuos. This gorgeously elegant bracelet looks stunning in a variety of colours to create different effects. Cut about 1 1⁄2 yards of your chosen thread, and thread a needle on to each end. Pick up 5 x 11/0 beads and slide them to the middle. Pick up 1 x Silky bead, one needle through one side, and the other needle through the other side.
Place the left needle to one side while you work with the right side, and vice versa, to save getting the threads tangled.With the right needle, pick up 1 x ‘’O’ bead, 1 x KP, 3 x 11/0. Sew back through the KB, pick up 1 x ‘’O’ bead, 1 x Silky bead, 1 x ‘’O’ bead, 1 x SuperDuo, 1 x 11/0, 1 x SuperDuo, 1 x ‘’O‘ bead and 1 x Silky bead.With the left needle, pick up 1 x ‘’O’ bead, 1 x KP, 3 x 11/0. Sew back through the KB, pick up 1 x ‘’O’ bead, sew through the silky added on the right thread, pick up 1 x ‘’O’ bead, 1 x SuperDuo, 1 x 11/0, 1 x SuperDuo, 1 x ‘’O’ bead, sew through the next Silky bead. Slide all the beads down tightly, and repeat step 1, 6 times for a 7 1⁄2 inch bracelet.
|On each side, pick up 1 x ‘’O‘ bead, 1 x KP, 3 x 11/0. Sew back through the KB, pick up 1 x ‘’O’ bead, 1 x Silky bead. On one needle, pick up 5 x 11/0, and with the other needle, sew through those 5 x 11/0 in the opposite direction. Pull the two threads to tighten them against the last Silky bead.|
Now, with your left needle, pick up 5 x 11/0, sew through the 3 x 11/0 across KB.[ Pick up 3 x 11/0, sew through the top (empty) hole of the SuperDuo, pick up 1 x ‘’O’ bead, 1 x SuperDuo and 1 x ‘’O’ bead, sew through the empty hole of the next SuperDuo, Pick up 3 x 11/0, sew through the 3 x 11/0 across KB.]Repeat from [ to ] to the last KB. Pick up 5 x 11/0, sew through the next 3 x 11/0 across the end Silky, exiting the middle 11/0Repeat Step 3 with your right needle.
With one needle, pick up 9 x 11/0, pass through the fixing loop of one half of your toggle clasp, sew back through the first 11/0 added, and back through the centre bead over the silky again.Continue sewing through the beads all the way to the other end of the bracelet, exiting the centre bead over the end silky.With the other needle sew through the loop on the clasp again, and weave through all the beads down the other side, to exit the centre bead over the silky.Add the second half of your clasp in the same way as the first. Weaving through the beads, knot around the thread bridge between them several times as you go, and trim.
